Last Sunday, July 6, we began a sermon series, the theme of which is “taste and see that the Lord is good.” This theme will continue throughout the entire month of July.
Next Sunday, July 13, we will look at what Moses had to say to the Israelites about the goodness of the Lord, and we’ll see how God’s goodness sometimes comes from unexpected sources. Join us at 10:00am for Holy Eucharist.
Christian Formation: Summer Yoga with the Psalms
This week’s meditative prompt (July10): Psalm 108
Our yoga sessions have been a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day and to give ourselves time to meditate on God’s word. If you haven’t had a chance to attend yet, it’s not too late. Come on out this evening at 7:00pm! No yoga mat? No problem! The instructors bring extras.
As a reminder, these classes are FREE and open to the entire community, though we are collecting donations for Meals on Wheels.
Readings for Week 7 (beginning July 13)
- Track 1 – Psalms 119, 120, 121, 122, 124, 126, 127
- Track 2 – Psalms 119-129

Meals on Wheels Needs Volunteers
Substitute Drivers:
This job is simple and does not require a lot of time. Meals are delivered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Drivers meet at the building to collect the groceries at about 9:45am, and are finished making deliveries by around 11:00am.
Kitchen Help:
For this job, you must have a food handlers permit from the Health Department to assist in preparing the meals before delivery.
If you, or anyone you know, is available to serve in either of these positions, please let Rev. Nancy know, or contact Jo or Linda at Meals on Wheels (jmmvww@gmail.com).
