Hello, dear friends, and may your Eastertide season continue to be a blessed one! Alleluia!
Last Sunday (4/12), the 2nd Sunday of Easter, we discussed what it means to rest in living hope. We looked at the story of Doubting Thomas and were reminded that God will do whatever it takes to lead us from doubt to an even deeper understanding of our faith.
This Sunday (4/19), the 3rd Sunday of Easter, also explores a story of doubt and confusion being turned into deeper faith and rejoicing. Please join us for Holy Eucharist at 10am, followed by coffee hour.
Parking Lot Flea Market
The flea market, silent auction, and snack shop on April 11 were very successful. As such, plans are already in the works for another similar event this coming Fall. So, if you missed the chance to participate or shop this time around, fear not; another opportunity is just around the corner!
Tuesdays at RSU
Tuesdays @ RSU has resumed with the book entitled Transforming by Austen Hartke. If you would like a copy of this book, please reply to this email or let Ron Parker know. Next Tuesday, April 21, the discussion continues with chapter 9.
Join us live each Tuesday at 7pm in room 207 of the Stratton Taylor Library on the RSU campus, or via Zoom.
Food Pantry Needs
Add this to your grocery list: The Pride Community Shelf needs to remain continuously stocked! We have many people who are utilizing this resource, so keep the non-perishables coming! The shelf is located near our entrance through the double red doors of the church next to the small community library.
Classroom Needs
Current classroom needs are for yarn, high-lighters, good quality No. 2 pencils, Post-it note pads, and Kleenex; so, the next time you’re doing a little shopping, pick up one or two of these items, then bring them to church to donate.
