Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends!
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18
I am especially grateful for my church family this holiday season. In the words of poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson, I offer this “Thanksgiving Wish” for you.
This is my wish for you:
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart,
Hugs when spirits sag,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Faith so that you can believe,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
Love to complete your life.
Special Offering for Medical Debt Relief
Over the next several weeks, we will be collecting special funds to contribute to medical debt relief for local families. Medical debt has become a crippling burden to many in our country, and we have the opportunity to offer some relief to those within Rogers county. If you wish to contribute to this special project, simply designate your offerings as “medical debt relief” and/or place them directly into the little hospital offering house.

Regional Advent Lessons and Carols
Advent is just around the corner, and your Northeast Clericus is busily planning a regional service to commemorate the occasion. The service will take place at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Grove (555 E 3rd St., Grove, OK) on December 8 at 4:00 pm, with tea and cookies to be served at 3:30 pm.
If you wish to serve as a lector or to participate in a communal choir for the event, let Rev. Nancy know.
If you prefer to simply participate as a member of the congregation, come along and bring a friend! Everyone from across the entire Northeast region is invited to attend!
