Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be Episcopalian to attend?
No. People from many different backgrounds are part of this community. Some come from other denominations, some from no religious background, and some are just exploring faith again.

What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll see jeans, boots, casual clothes, and the occasional tie or dress. Come as you are.

Will I be asked to stand, introduce myself, or join anything?
No. You will be welcomed with kindness, but never singled out or pressured.

Can I receive Communion if I’m not Episcopalian?
Yes. Everyone who seeks Christ’s presence is welcome at the table.

What about kids?
Children are welcome in worship. Their energy and noise are part of the joy of community life.

Do I have to give money?
No. Giving is never required. You are our guest.

I’ve been hurt by church before. Is it really safe to come?
You’re not alone. Many people at St. Paul’s have similar stories. This is a gentle place to heal, ask questions, and reconnect with God at your own pace.
