Using <em>Unclobbered<\/em>, we will explore the six biblical passages most often cited in discussions about LGBTQ+ people and Christianity\u2014reading them carefully, examining their historical context, and engaging how faithful Christians interpret them today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study is <strong>not about debate or winning arguments<\/strong>.<br>It <em>is<\/em> about learning, listening, and engaging Scripture together with honesty and care. we will be using the following book:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/stpaulsclaremore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_4645-576x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-983\" srcset=\"http:\/\/stpaulsclaremore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_4645-576x1024.png 576w, http:\/\/stpaulsclaremore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_4645-169x300.png 169w, http:\/\/stpaulsclaremore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_4645-500x889.png 500w, http:\/\/stpaulsclaremore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_4645.png 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You do <strong>not<\/strong> need to agree with the book\u2014or with one another\u2014to participate. All are welcome who desire an open, respectful, and Scripture-centered journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to our shared discussion, we will also view and reflect on a companion video series by <strong>Sam Powers<\/strong>, Lead Pastor of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#x1f539; <strong>In-person and Zoom options available<\/strong><br>Zoom will be offered for anyone who wishes to attend remotely.
