Two months ago, we were longing for a break from the &#8220;monsoon season&#8221;, and then the drought set in! Goodness!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The month of August is a fairly quiet one at St. Paul&#8217;s; but we do have a couple of noteworthy events about which I want to remind you. Also, stay tuned, as we may try to plan a fun and casual movie night (or two) during the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rogers County Pride to Visit St. Paul&#8217;s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THIS Sunday (8\/03), our local Pride group plans to visit us!!! This community wants to show some love to their allies; so, this will be a great opportunity for us to show love right back! We hope to see you this Sunday at 10:00am for Holy Eucharist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Big Tent Day at RSU<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plan to join us on Wednesday, August 20, from 9:30-2:00 for the annual Big Tent Day on the Rogers State University campus. This is a great opportunity for us to show what we have to offer this community; so, if you&#8217;re free for a few minutes or a few hours on this day, join us at the St. Paul&#8217;s booth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: we also need folks to help set the booth up at 8:30, and break it down at 2:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let Us Pray<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>That our parishioners will exemplify God&#8217;s love and peace during this time when so much religious, social, and political unrest plagues our community, nation, and world<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For all individuals living in fear due to new executive orders and mandates being imposed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Ukraine and Russia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Israel and Palestine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Temple Abel\/ Lucas\/ John\/ Shelby\/ Kaitlyn\/ Patty\/ Karen\/ Lee\/ Nathan\/ Tammy Morales\/ Cynthia Woods\/ Chris\/ Rose\/ Brady\/ Zachary\/ Donna\/ Justin\/ Robert\/ Lenny\/ John\/ Cooper\/ Josh\/ Steven\/ Connor\/ Pastor James Coulter and Mt.
