Jesus said, “I am the bread of life.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Last week (7\/28), we looked at a couple of instances in scripture when people were frightened or anxious; but were reminded that God is always present, taking care of our needs, and reassuring us of his love and provision. The Gospel lesson for this Sunday (8\/04) reminds us that in addition to taking care of our physical needs, God also makes provision for our spiritual needs. Join us at 9:30 am for the celebration of Holy Eucharist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christian Formation Spiritual Gifts Class Postponed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ***Note: We will NOT have Sunday School the first two weeks of August.***<\/p>\n\n\n\n The resuming of our Sunday morning formation classes has been postponed by a couple of weeks; but beginning August 18, our focus in Sunday School will be on Spiritual Gifts. We’ll find out what they are, how you can discover which of these gifts you have, and how you can put them to practical use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Big Tent Day at RSU<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s that time of year again. RSU’s Big Tent Day will take place on Wednesday, August 21, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a fun event, and a great opportunity for our congregation to meet and reach out to RSU students and personnel.
