Last Sunday (4\/05), Easter Day, we observed the Great Easter Vigil followed by a lovely Easter meal. It was wonderful to celebrate our risen Lord with family and friends! We were also able to complete the Easter baskets for some of the children of local families – what a blessing to be invited into these beautiful lives!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This Sunday (4\/12), the 2nd<\/sup> Sunday of Easter, we will learn what it means to rest in living hope. Please join us for Holy Eucharist at 10am, followed by coffee hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Parking Lot Flea Market THIS SATURDAY (4\/11)!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you’re not selling something (or even if you are), come prepared to spend a few dollars because the time has arrived for the much-anticipated community flea market!!! This is a collaborative fund-raising event between Claremore Pride & St. Paul’s wherein spaces in our parking lot may be rented by vendors for $15 each (it’s not too late to rent a space<\/u><\/strong>). In addition, we will have a snack bar and silent auction available inside the parish hall. This will be a fun way to get together with your family and friends; so, we hope to see you there this Saturday, April 11, from 8am-3pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tuesdays at RSU<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tuesdays @ RSU has resumed with the book entitled Transforming by Austen Hartke. If you would like a copy of this book, please reply to this email or let Ron Parker know. Let me know if you\u2019d like a copy of the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Food Pantry Needs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Add this to your grocery list: <\/strong>The Pride Community Shelf needs to remain continuously stocked! We have many people who are utilizing this resourse, so keep the non-perishibles coming! The shelf is located near our entrance through the double red doors of the church next to the small community library. Suggested items for donation to this shelf include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Proteins: <\/strong>Canned meat or fish, Canned or dried beans, Peanut butter, Lentils and other dried peas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Grains: <\/strong>Rice, Pasta, Cereal and oatmeal, <\/strong>Microwaveable mac and cheese cups and ramen noodles<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Fruits and vegetables: <\/strong>Canned vegetables like corn, green beans, and mixed vegetables, Canned Fruits, Dried fruits, single-serving Fruit and applesauce cups <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Cooking and meal essentials: <\/strong>Pasta and tomato sauce, Canned soup or stew, Powdered, evaporated, or boxed shelf-stable milk , vegetable or olive oil .<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Spices:<\/strong> Basic seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning can significantly<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002improve a meal’s flavor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Snacks and beverages: <\/strong>Nuts, Crackers, Drink mixes (<\/strong>Packets of hot chocolate, coffee, and fruit juice)<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Hygiene and household supplies:<\/strong> Baby food and diapers, Feminine hygiene products, Personal hygiene \u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002products (soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrushes), Laundry detergent and dish soap, Toilet paper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Classroom Needs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Christina has made us aware of a new need for the students at her school: Yarn – all colors and thicknesses welcome. No need to spend a lot of money – Red Heart yarn is decent quality and relatively inexpensive.
